Photokina 2010: Panasonic has announced several updates to the firmware and software. Version 1.3 G Vario Lumix HD 14-140 mm F4-5.6 ASPH Mega OIS promises improved autofocus speed and reduced startup time lens, whereas v1.1 for DMC-G2 adds compatibility with the new interchangeable 3D lens Lumix G 12.5 mm/F12 (H-FT 012), declared today. 3D is also the name of the game with the Update v1.1 software PHOTOfunSTUDIO 5 HD version of the company, which also adds compatibility and functionality for images shot with 12.5 mm lens.

Firmware ver. 1.3 for THE LUMIX G VARIO HD 14-140 mm F4.0-5.8 ASPH./MEGA o.i.s. (H-VS 014140) will be released in early October 2010 and ver.1.1 Firmware for DMC-G2 and PHOTOfunSTUDIO 5 HD version and updates will be available in November 2010.
